Bible Study Groups

Our purpose statement at GBC is to help people CONNECT with God, GROW in Christ, and SERVE in the Spirit. One of the ways we GROW in our relationship with Jesus is through small group bible studies. We have several opportunities for you to choose from so hopefully you can find one that fits your schedule. For more information about Bible Study Groups, please call 203-869-2807.

Sunday Morning Bible Studies (9:30 AM)

  • 1 Corinthians - In this epistle the Apostle Paul identifies a number of problems in the church, offers solutions to them and teaches believers how to live for Christ in a corrupt society. David Newberry will lead this study, which is as relevant today as it was in the first century.
  • Love to Pray - This is an eight week class on prayer that could change your prayer life forever. The class will help you discover how to become “devoted" to prayer as a way of life rather than as a  duty. It began today and is being taught by Pastor Lloyd.

Small Groups Throughout the Week

  • Mid-Week Wednesday Night Bible Study - This study is open to anyone and meets in the church Fellowship Hall at 7:00 PM. They are currently going through the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs in a year using the Self-Feeder study guide. This study is led by Pastor Lloyd Syvertsen. Please contact him with any questions (lloyd@greenwichbaptist.org).
  • Saturday Morning Men’s Bible Study.  First Saturday of each month at 8:00 AM.  All men are invited for a time of Bible Study, discussion and prayer. Men meet in the church in the fellowship hall. Please contact David Newberry (dnewberry001@yahoo.com) for more information.
